Participants are only allowed to consume high fiber foods like vegetables, salads, fish, meat, chicken, eggs, non-fat yogurt, low-fat cheese, and nuts. SBD allows you to take 6 meals a day which consists of 3 main courses, 2 snacks and 1 desert.
Take out your cook books and work some magic. The perception of SBD is the mechanism on how food reacts to your blood sugar. It is recommended that you focus on salads and vegetables because they are naturally low with sugars.
This diet becomes more relaxed as it proceeds to phrase 2. Now, you can eat whatever you want. You can welcome back bread, rice, potatoes and pasta to your diet. However, weight lost will decrease dramatically.
Lastly, we encounter phrase 3. Phrase 3 mainly focuses on your finding what’s best for your body. You are required to eat whatever food you like and judging it by checking your weight. If you gained weight then you’d know what went wrong and step 1 and 2 has to be repeated again.
